Article 1 — Purpose

These terms of use set out how RetroRift — Classic Builds may be accessed and used. They apply to every visitor without exception. Using the site constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

Article 2 — Description of the service

RetroRift is an independent editorial site about the League of Legends Classic mode. It offers build guides for the 60 champions of the Classic roster (items, runes, masteries, summoner spells and skill order), a "Main Finder" tool that suggests champions based on your playstyle, a game "Randomizer", and an item catalogue.

Access to the site is free and requires no account, no sign-up and no personal data. Internet connection costs remain your responsibility.

Article 3 — Status of the information published

The builds, statistics, rankings and recommendations published on RetroRift are provided for guidance only. They are editorial choices and constitute neither an in-game truth nor a guarantee of results.

Factual data about items, runes, masteries and spells comes from the game’s official data files. It may differ from the version of the game live when you read it: a patch released by Riot Games may make information out of date before the site has been updated.

Article 4 — Intellectual property

The site structure, visual identity, editorial texts and source code are protected by copyright and remain the property of the publisher. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, by any means and on any medium, without prior written permission, is prohibited and would constitute infringement.

League of Legends and all associated elements — champion names and artwork, item, rune and mastery icons, trademarks, logos — are the exclusive property of Riot Games, Inc. They are used here under Riot Games’ fan content policy ("Legal Jibber Jabber"), which permits such unofficial use.

RetroRift — Classic Builds was created under Riot Games' “Legal Jibber Jabber” policy using assets owned by Riot Games. Riot Games does not endorse or sponsor this project.

Article 5 — Advertising and external links

The site is funded by advertising. Ads supplied by Google AdSense and its partners are displayed in clearly identified slots. The publisher does not individually select the ads served and cannot be held responsible for their content or for the products and services they promote.

The site may contain links to third-party sites, including affiliate links identified as such. The publisher has no control over those sites and accepts no responsibility for their content or their personal data practices.

Article 6 — User obligations

When using the site, you undertake not to:

• disrupt, slow down or hinder its operation, in particular through massive automated requests, systematic scraping or any denial-of-service attack;
• attempt to access non-public parts of the site or circumvent its technical measures;
• reproduce or reuse the editorial content for commercial purposes without permission;
• hide, alter or artificially block the ad slots in order to generate invalid impressions or clicks.

Article 7 — Availability and liability

The publisher endeavours to keep the site continuously available but is under no obligation to do so. Access may be suspended at any time, without notice or compensation, in particular for maintenance, updates, force majeure or a failure of the hosting provider.

The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage arising from use of the site, from being unable to access it, from the use made of the information it contains, or from a virus on your equipment.

These limitations do not apply to damage resulting from the publisher’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor where the law prohibits them.

Article 8 — Changes to these terms

The publisher may amend these terms at any time to reflect changes to the site or to the applicable regulations. The version that applies is the one online when you visit; the last update date is shown at the bottom of this page.

Article 9 — Applicable law and disputes
